This 1940s nightgown is made from silky, light pink rayon satin with stunning lace trim. A bias cut bodice with a deep plunging neckline. Ruched detail along the sides of the bust with lace straps and a lovely V cut back. Slim fitted through the upper hip with a long, floor length skirt falling right above the ankle depending on height. A lovely lingerie gown to add to your boudoir collection.
CONDITION - Very Good: no stains, rips or holes. This gown has been altered in the center back and front to make smaller, but looks to be very skillfully done. Could be let out to gain 2", but there may be stitch holes present if you do. I found one tiny pinhole in the back.

A Note on Buying Vintage
A Note on Buying Vintage
This is an antique or early vintage garment made from delicate materials such as silk, fine cotton, lace, or early synthetics. These textiles may display signs consistent with age, which includes:
• natural fiber fatigue
• gentle thinning at stress points
• subtle irregularities inherent to early manufacturing
• age-related softness or patina
These qualities are authentic to historic garments and are considered part of their character, not defects, unless otherwise stated.
Notable flaws, such as excessive wear, stains, holes, or rips will always be photographed and disclosed in the condition notes.
