This vintage 1940s nightgown has never been worn, made from bright lemonade yellow rayon satin that shines beautifully due to its luster. Absolutely gorgeous, with a ruffled lace edged yoke that covers the shoulders and adorned with little pink silk rosettes on each corner of the square neck. Bias cut with shirring detail at the center under bust. Lightly fitted through the upper hip, with sewn in ties to cinch the waist to your liking. This gown falls to the floor and a very deep V cut back gives an ethereal princess appeal at all angles. A stunning addition to your lingerie collection, would also make an exquisite formal gown.

A Note on Buying Vintage
A Note on Buying Vintage
This is an antique or early vintage garment made from delicate materials such as silk, fine cotton, lace, or early synthetics. These textiles may display signs consistent with age, which includes:
• natural fiber fatigue
• gentle thinning at stress points
• subtle irregularities inherent to early manufacturing
• age-related softness or patina
These qualities are authentic to historic garments and are considered part of their character, not defects, unless otherwise stated.
Notable flaws, such as excessive wear, stains, holes, or rips will always be photographed and disclosed in the condition notes.
