Vintage 1940's Nightgown - Inky Black Rayon with Cotton Tulle & Bow Appliqués - By Chevette - Size S, M

This vintage 1940s nightgown by Chevette was made from a rich, inky black rayon material in a luxurious medium weight. Bias cut with a gathered bust that is beautifully framed in cotton tulle with ribbon bow appliqués. Fluttery caplet sleeves cover the very tips of the shoulders, with a very low back complemented with a little center slit. This gorgeous gown falls to the ankles with attached ties to cinch the waist to your liking. A truly special boudoir piece.
