Vintage 1940s maxi slip by Sulette made of an ultra-silky, inky black rayon satin that has a high luster that plays with the light beautifully. Incredibly sexy, with a lightly darted bust that offers a nice bit of support and shaping. A low-cut neckline with thin adjustable straps and a very low elasticized back to enable a bit of adjustment in size. Slim fitting to accentuate the figure, with an ankle-length skirt which gives a very elegant allure. Perfect for the boudoir, also would make a gorgeous evening gown.
*Please excuse the ambiguous photos, the gown was too small in the waist to fit over the shoulders of my size 2 dress form.

A Note on Buying Vintage
A Note on Buying Vintage
This is an antique or early vintage garment made from delicate materials such as silk, fine cotton, lace, or early synthetics. These textiles may display signs consistent with age, which includes:
• natural fiber fatigue
• gentle thinning at stress points
• subtle irregularities inherent to early manufacturing
• age-related softness or patina
These qualities are authentic to historic garments and are considered part of their character, not defects, unless otherwise stated.
Notable flaws, such as excessive wear, stains, holes, or rips will always be photographed and disclosed in the condition notes.
