Vintage 1940s lounge pajama set was made in China of bright red silk with black piping along the edges. Very flattering, with the top having short princess puff sleeves, a high mandarin collar, and intricate silk frog buttons up the center front for closure. Slightly flared from the waist and extending toward the upper hip, cinching at the waist with a removable fringe sash tie. The pants sit high with double adjustable buttons closure at the front and back. Loose in fit with wide legs falling to the ankle. Absolutely gorgeous in a rare color, perfect for the pinup loungewear collection.

CONDITION :
Excellent: Looks to have been very lightly if ever worn without any holes or rips. Unfortunately, there are a couple of spots where there looks to have been some color bleeding as pictured. I have not attempted to remove these spots.
