This 1940's hand sewn Japanese robe is made with icy blue silk with white silk lining. Stunning hand embroidery throughout the front and back, with cherry blossom sprigs and leaves adorning the front and an elaborate and colorful tree consuming the back. Loose sleeves falling below the elbow and completely sewn to the seam. Falling above the ankle with a sash tie, and sewn in belt loops to help secure its placement. This remarkable dressing gown is a beautiful collector piece, suitable for wear both in and out of leisure.
