This vintage 1940's Japanese Kimono is a stunner. Reversible with the main outer layer having a bright sky blue background and a bright floral print, featuring huge chrysanthemums and wisteria vines. The hem is in a deeper cobalt blue with the classic hayashi scenic print adorning the bottom. The inner layer is a cool shade of pale mint green, with softer complimentary floral vines and a bare hem giving a softer aesthetic. Long 20" sleeves and a smooth drape will make you look just as glamorous as you feel. An accompanying sash tie allows for closure, while the dressing gown could easily be worn open for a unique, and very artsy chic look out on the town.

A Note on Buying Vintage

This is an antique or early vintage garment made from delicate materials such as silk, fine cotton, lace, or early synthetics. These textiles may display signs consistent with age, which includes:

• natural fiber fatigue
• gentle thinning at stress points
• subtle irregularities inherent to early manufacturing
• age-related softness or patina

These qualities are authentic to historic garments and are considered part of their character, not defects, unless otherwise stated.

Notable flaws, such as excessive wear, stains, holes, or rips will always be photographed and disclosed in the condition notes.
