Vintage 1940's quilted wine red rayon satin robe with a champagne satin lining. Darted padded shoulders with wide bracelet length sleeves and a large pocket resting on the hip. A wide A-line skirt that falls below the knee for a beautifully feminine fit.

CONDITION :
Excellent vintage condition. No holes, rips or mends. There is one bluish tinted spot on front lapel that shows when the lighting is right, and a few areas of spots as shown in photos. Very light fading right at the cuff of the sleeves. One age spot on lining at shoulder, and some red color bleeding right at the back hem on lining. Some missing stitches in quilting that is hardly if at all noticeable.

This 1940s quilted robe is perfect for the classic pinup enthusiast. Made of a rich, deep wine red rayon satin and lined in a pale champagne satin. Shoulder pads give the perfect 40's darted and fitted silhouette with wide bracelet length sleeves and a fitted waist. This house coat would look superb over a petticoat with a wide 85" sweep that adds gorgeous folds and a lovely amount of fullness. Absolutely stunning, classic, and bold.
