Vintage 1940's Girdle - Candy Pink Rayon Blend with Floral Satin Damask & Double Fan Corset Lacing - Size M - By Truform

This vintage 1940s girdle by Truform was made from a sweet candy pink sateen finished rayon cotton blend material with the sweetest little floral satin damask pattern throughout. This foundation piece supports the abdomen with wide metal stays that extend from under the ribcage to the upper hip, with the seat extending from the upper portion of the lower back to right below the seat. Each side of this girdle features double fan corset lacing that can be easily cinched without the help of another, providing 4 way adjustment for an always perfect fit. Adjustable garter straps at the center front with 2 trolley garters that connect from the back to the side hip to help keep the piece from shifting, all while holding your stockings as high or low as you would like.

Condition

Very good: Hand washed and steamed with no holes or rips. Garter clasps, straps, and hardware are like new. Structurally very sound, elastic panels still taught and stretchy. There is some discoloration that I was unable to lift at the upper front torso panel and inner layer.
