Vintage 1940s dressing gown robe made from a heavy, silky rayon satin material in a pearlescent white hue with very high luster. Absolutely darling, with long wide sleeves that cinch at the wrist with a ruffled lace cuff. An open and loose fit, closing at the neck with a button snap and attached ties to tie in a bow. A partially hidden sash tie cinches the waist to give a flattering fit to the figure, while allowing the back to drape like a cape. Floor length and incredibly ethereal.

CONDITION
Excellent: Hand washed and steamed. Two small storage marks on the lower side near the seam. Gown was previously shortened and then released which created crease marks and slight darkening at the fold. Does not distract from its beauty at all, crease marks will likely relax after another wash or two.
