Vintage 1940's Dressing Gown Robe | Deep Blush Pink Satin Charmeuse with Embroidery | Size MED

This 1940s dressing gown Is made from a luscious deep blush pink rayon satin charmeuse with a very silky feel and high luster. Beautifully fitted, with a perfectly tailored sweetheart neckline and princess puff sleeves. Exquisite embroidery adorns the entire front bodice, with ruched detail over the lower waist. Sewn in ties and zipper closure up the front, with eye-hook closure at the center chest and button snap over the pelvis to keep the seam flush. A stunning long, wide skirt which falls to the floor with a huge 150" sweep that adds glamour and grace to your leisure. A lovely robe that looks to have been made for a princess, perfect for any vintage lover's boudoir.

CONDITION - Very good: Rear seams have been mended at some point. One small fray spot on the side at the waist (hides below tie). A bit of loosening in the threads in a few small spots under the right arm, not holes and does not affect wear. One fray spot right above the hem over zipper seam. One clear, dull mark right above the hem toward the right which hides in the folds. Some darkening on the very edge of the hem where it skims the floor. Has been washed!
