This vintage 1940s dressing gown was made from a pearl white crepe back rayon satin material that is heavier in weight to provide a luxurious drape. Absolutely stunning, with circular geo matte print throughout that gives a nice contrasting texture. This beauty features tightly gathered detail at the top of each shoulder and the center waist that creates bountiful folds through the bodice. Sleek half-sleeves with ruffled edges, nicely finished with little satin bows add a sweetly feminine touch. This darling robe is completely open down the center, closing at the waist with a row of faceted plastic buttons. A V'd back flatters the derriere, with attached ties to cinch the waist to your liking. Ankle length with a slightly longer back adds decadence and drama from all angles. So incredibly lovely!

A Note on Buying Vintage
This is an antique or early vintage garment made from delicate materials such as silk, fine cotton, lace, or early synthetics. These textiles may display signs consistent with age, which includes:
• natural fiber fatigue
• gentle thinning at stress points
• subtle irregularities inherent to early manufacturing
• age-related softness or patina
These qualities are authentic to historic garments and are considered part of their character, not defects, unless otherwise stated.
Notable flaws, such as excessive wear, stains, holes, or rips will always be photographed and disclosed in the condition notes.
