A late 1940s to early 1950s dressing gown made of a gorgeous cobalt blue damask rayon satin fabric with a bright violet purple patina. This dressing own has lovely large pockets and a long tie sash to add a feminine touch to the fitted waist. The bodice is fitted with a sexy deep V, has a very loose shoulder and underarm and cuffed short sleeves. This zip up floor length robe has an open hip and an ultra wide sweep. Beautiful and flirty, this youthful and fun dressing gown would also make a gorgeous dress, whether casual or formal.
CONDITION - Very good: there is a small nip in fabric fold that covers the zipper, approx. 3.4". See image.
