A 1940s dressing gown made of luscious black silk velvet with a lovely powder pink ribbon woven through and tied in a bow on the left lapel on the bodice. This stunning robe is cut on the bias and incredibly loose in the top with ruched shoulders for added drama, with 3/4 inch sleeves falling to about mid-forearm. A gorgeous step in style that has an inner tie for closure and a button snap on the front with an attached sash to pull around and tie in the front. The skirt is slightly fitted through the hip and pours down to above the ankle, with a sexy center slit. A gorgeous vintage gown that could very easily be worn as a dress with the right shoe.
CONDITION - Very good: There is one small mend in the skirt, difficult to notice. The hem has been raised about 3.5" and can be let out for added length. I noticed a couple of small holes above the hem (3mm). There is slight pricks to the inner fabric near the left underarm that are unnoticeable on the outside.
