This vintage 1940s robe was made from a rich champagne gold crepe-back rayon satin material in a comforting heavier weight and incredible luster. Bias cut with slim ruched sleeves and puffed shoulders supported by half-moon pads to create the perfect 40s silhouette. The bodice features a sweetheart neckline and stunning trapunto embroidery that adds a decadent texture. Sparkling rhinestone buttons close the center chest, while a long metal zipper closes the skirt. A flattering nipped waist that cinches with attached ties. This incredibly lovely robe falls to the ankle with 5 inch longer side hems that provide a slight train at the sides. A gorgeous piece.
