Vintage 1940's lingerie set was made consisting of a bralette and tap pants. Made from silky pale powder pink silk that is slightly sheer with a delicate luster. Both pieces feature satin floral appliques on the right side of the cup and hip, with the tap pants decorated with arching pintucks at the left. The bralette closes with rear eye-hooks with vertical stitching, while the tap pants sit high on the waist with double button closure at the right hip. A subtle yet beautiful set!

A Note on Buying Vintage
A Note on Buying Vintage
This is an antique or early vintage garment made from delicate materials such as silk, fine cotton, lace, or early synthetics. These textiles may display signs consistent with age, which includes:
• natural fiber fatigue
• gentle thinning at stress points
• subtle irregularities inherent to early manufacturing
• age-related softness or patina
These qualities are authentic to historic garments and are considered part of their character, not defects, unless otherwise stated.
Notable flaws, such as excessive wear, stains, holes, or rips will always be photographed and disclosed in the condition notes.
