Vintage 1940's All in One Girdle | Antique Rose Pink Rayon with Satin Damask & Cotton Lace | Famise | Size M, LG
This 1940s all in one girdle is a beautiful rare style with all around shaping features and detail. Made of a sturdy rayon and cotton blend, with a lovely satin damask pattern and stretchy cotton lace cups. With adjustable straps that detach for easy care and versatile wear. Stretchy elastic lower additions in the back to ensure comfort and prevent rubbing and indentations on the skin. Excellent bust support with horizontal darted stitching and a soft mesh lining for comfort. Diamond stitching over the front with an inner insert with boning for a flat tummy and elastic side panels to promote curves. This sexy corselette has structural flexible boning throughout the piece for support, with 6 over the abdomen and 8 in the back supporting the lower back and shaping the derriere. There are 4 trolley garter clasps to hold up your stockings and eye-hook closure up the entire right side for closure. A very flattering and sultry lingerie foundation!
CONDITION - Very good: Structurally sound and durable for wear, with healthy and stretchy elastic side panels. Garter sliders are still strong. This girdle was previously taken in at the center bust and there are tiny thread holes from it being released. One very small hole in the center chest that could be fixed with a few stitches, and a couple tiny holes in the lace on the left cup. Light darkening on the elastic underarms. Some rusting on the hardware on 2 garter clips. Trolley garter straps are still strong, but elastic is not as stretchy as it was 70+ years ago and there are a few age spots on the straps.
