This vintage 1940s to early 1950s nightgown by Slenderstyle was made from a crisp candy pink acetate and nylon crepe material that is light in weight offering a decadent drape. Bias cut with a flattering crystal pleated chiffon neckline that ruffles over the shoulders. Darling flower appliqués adorn the chest for added allure. This gown is slinky in fit, gently hugging the curves as it cascades to the ankle with a pleated chiffon edged hem. A very lovely and easy to wear gown!

Note: Dress is shown pinned in all except the second to last photo to show intended silhouette. Shown modeled in first photo without pinning.

A Note on Buying Vintage

This is an antique or early vintage garment made from delicate materials such as silk, fine cotton, lace, or early synthetics. These textiles may display signs consistent with age, which includes:

• natural fiber fatigue
• gentle thinning at stress points
• subtle irregularities inherent to early manufacturing
• age-related softness or patina

These qualities are authentic to historic garments and are considered part of their character, not defects, unless otherwise stated.

Notable flaws, such as excessive wear, stains, holes, or rips will always be photographed and disclosed in the condition notes.
