This vintage late 1940s to 1950s nightgown by Laros was made from a silky, lightweight palest blue crisp nylon material. Gathered slightly deeper blue nylon chiffon overlay offers a decadent texture to the bodice and ruffled hem, with darling lilac flowers and petal embroidery that adorns the gown in all the right places. Princess puffed sleeves and a sweetheart neckline edged in fluttery purple embroidered lace gives a feminine touch, with a double layered floor length hem that creates structure and fullness. This gown hugs the waist with an elastic back to ensure a comfortable wear. Such a sweet gem!

A Note on Buying Vintage

This is an antique or early vintage garment made from delicate materials such as silk, fine cotton, lace, or early synthetics. These textiles may display signs consistent with age, which includes:

• natural fiber fatigue
• gentle thinning at stress points
• subtle irregularities inherent to early manufacturing
• age-related softness or patina

These qualities are authentic to historic garments and are considered part of their character, not defects, unless otherwise stated.

Notable flaws, such as excessive wear, stains, holes, or rips will always be photographed and disclosed in the condition notes.
