This vintage 1940s to early 1950s girdle by Nemo is an absolutely adorable foundation that perfectly captures the youthful allure that Nemo was known for. Made from a bright tea rose pink rayon and cotton blend material that smooths over the figure nicely. Decorative sky blue pinstripe embroidery adorns the front panel which is a lovely contrast to the pink. This beauty sits high at the natural waist, with expertly placed stays to flatten the stomach and accentuate the hips. Elastic panels provide adjustability and enable more comfortable wear, with hidden eye-hook closure up the side is backed with plush pink velvet lining to prevents friction. 6 trolley garters hold your stockings high upon the thigh making this perfect for wearing under your favorite skirts and dresses of various lengths. A Note on Buying Vintage
A Note on Buying Vintage
This is an antique or early vintage garment made from delicate materials such as silk, fine cotton, lace, or early synthetics. These textiles may display signs consistent with age, which includes:
• natural fiber fatigue
• gentle thinning at stress points
• subtle irregularities inherent to early manufacturing
• age-related softness or patina
These qualities are authentic to historic garments and are considered part of their character, not defects, unless otherwise stated.
Notable flaws, such as excessive wear, stains, holes, or rips will always be photographed and disclosed in the condition notes.
