Vintage 1940's - 1950's Evening Gown - Ballet Pink Rayon Satin with Blush Velvet Flamenco Print | XS

This vintage 1940s to early 1950s evening gown was made from a very lustrous ballet pink satin material that sparkles so beautifully under light. The most darling print of little flamenco dancers and hand fans in a lush, blush pink velvet cover its entirety, making this an incredibly unique and playful gown. Perfectly structured with a boned fitted bodice and ruffled sweetheart neckline that frames the gathered bust. A flattering princess cut waist comes to a point at the center. A thick rope of satin covered cording helps to bring the very full skirt to life as it falls to the ankle. The hem expands to an impressive 154 inch sweep creating an absolutely elegant allure for the wearer. This beauty closes at the side of the waist with a metal zipper. One of the sweetest gowns I have ever carried.

Condition: Hand washed and steamed. Gown in incredible condition and looks to have been rarely if ever worn. Velvet is still plush without missing tufts even after repeated soaking. There are two areas (one on the back of lower skirt, one on the front of lower skirt) of incredibly faint foxing that is barely visible.
