Vintage 1940s to very early 1950s dressing gown robe made from a very sheer baby pink rayon chiffon material. Sheer nylon lace frames the chest and bust, wide waist panel and ruffled cuffs of the sleeves. This darling robe has very wide long sleeves that gather at the underside of the wrist to give a very dramatic look to the wearer. An open fit with a row of chiffon covered buttons close the robe at the waist. The skirt is ankle length at the front with a slight train in the back, gathered at the lower part of the waist to offer a stunningly full cascade effect. Very special!

CONDITION
Excellent: Gown appears to have been worn sparingly and retains a feeling of 'newness' to it. A few tiny pinholes next to tiny gray spots on the back and on the back of a sleeve. A light yellowish mark on the back near the waist/side seam and a strange upside down U shape mark on the lower back part of the skirt.
