Vintage 1940s to early 1950s all in one girdle by Blair Corsets made from a two tone powder and blush pink cotton/rayon material. A sweet mistletoe satin damask pattern throughout adorns the garment, with thin satin straps that add a lovely touch. Lightly darted blush pink lace cups with circle stitching at the undersides nicely shape the bosom, with metal stays over the abdomen to flatten the tummy. The apricot front panel has no stretch, however the blush pink back is elasticized to comfortably smooth and shape the curves. This gorgeous piece closes up the side with eye-hooks and a metal zipper for secure and easy wear. Ultra soft flannel lining protects the skin at the inner cup and over the abdominal panel, with plush pink velvet over the garter stitching and side closure for extra comfort. 4 trolley garters hold up your stockings. So much to love about this girdle!

CONDITION

Excellent: Fabric is in amazing condition and the piece retains a 'newness' to it. No holes, stains, or rips on the outside, but there is some minor discoloration on the inside as shown. Garter clips/sliders in excellent condition but there is no stretch to the trolley straps themselves and they appear to have been shortened. May have been taken in at the underarms but I cannot discern if it was done by the original maker or altered at a later date.
