Vintage 1930's Teddy Chemise - Hand Stitched Blush Pink Silk with Raised Floral Embroidery by HWA Sun | XS

This vintage 1930s teddy chemise was made in Shanghai, which was China's luxury garment district at the time. Hand stitched, made from a smooth and slinky silk in a rich hue of blush pink. Bias cut with thin straps that adjust to your liking with rare casein sliders. This stunning lingerie piece features the most incredible raised satin chrysanthemum embroidery that frames intricately done mesh panels (again, completely done by hand). Very flattering, with a softly fitted cut that flares lovingly at the hip to provide a flirtatiously cheeky yet incredibly comfortable wear. An easy slip-on teddy that closes with little button at the center of the diamond shaped gusset. A truly remarkable piece of wearable art. 

Label: Hwa Sun (Magnificent or Splendid Sun is a possible translation, as Hwa is the English word for 華 which means magnificent, splendid, or flower.

Condition: hand washed and pressed. Garment appears to have been rarely if ever worn and was lovingly stored with no holes, rips, or stains. There is one area near the right bust that appears to have a gold tint but I can't quite to commit to believing it is a mark or just light and shadows. It does not appear other than in photos.
