This late 1930s slip by Barbizon is made of rich mocha brown silk 'crepe gartiere', or crepe de chine. Bias cut and incredibly slinky, this slip drapes beautifully along the curves and falls to the knee, or right below on a petite frame. A perfect basic and simple lingerie piece for the 'everyday' boudoir collection. It hides perfectly under sheer dresses and gowns, but is pretty enough to be worn on its own as a nightgown or slip dress.
CONDITION - Very good: this slip has been shortened to the desired length of the original owner. No holes, rips or stains.
