Condition

Very good: Hand washed and steamed. Presents beautifully and structurally sound for wear. Tulle retains full stretch and all buttons are intact. Belt looks to have been unused and is slightly darker than the set. One button has lost the lace on the overdress and there are a few small breaks primarily around the hem as pictured. Slip has some water marks that created stains and some faint underarm shadows. There is some blue stitching above the hem from where there used to be a blue ribbon. All hide very well under the overdress. Described flaws make it sound worse than it is, I promise!

A Note on Buying Vintage

This is an antique or early vintage garment made from delicate materials such as silk, fine cotton, lace, or early synthetics. These textiles may display signs consistent with age, which includes:

• natural fiber fatigue
• gentle thinning at stress points
• subtle irregularities inherent to early manufacturing
• age-related softness or patina

These qualities are authentic to historic garments and are considered part of their character, not defects, unless otherwise stated.

Notable flaws, such as excessive wear, stains, holes, or rips will always be photographed and disclosed in the condition notes.
