Vintage 1930s Rare 'Alphabet' Bra by Warner's
A great (and rare) find, this late 1930s bra by Warner's would be a great addition to your foundation collection. This rosy colored soft cup bra has no boning or metal cups, but has the classic circle stitching for support. Made of silk and rayon material, with adjustable slider straps to give you a custom fit. All elastic is still good as new, with no rusting on the metal fasteners or strap sliders. A nice 1 inch band along the bottom will flatter your physique.
Why it's so special:
Warner's first promoted and used the A, B, C, and D cup sizes starting in 1937. Warner's was the first to advertise the need to have custom cup sizing insisting that women's breasts were not 'one size fits all'. Realizing the variations between bust and chest sizing, the Alphabet Bra was created. Thank you Warner's!
