This vintage 1930s pajama set by Crepe de Lillian was made from a featherlight powder pink silk crepe material. This set captures the iconic style of the early 30s with a bias cut and flowy loose fit. The top features gorgeous ecru cotton lace inserts that frame the V cut neckline and sleeves, with decorative stitching and a deep V shaped appliqué that complements the neckline. Attached ties cinch the waist to flatter the figure. The pants sit very high on the waist, closing at the side with a row of buttons for security. Loose palazzo legs fall to the ankle with very wide 34 inch leg openings. Such a charming set!
Label: Cerpe de Lillian
Era: 1930's
Material: Silk crepe, cotton lace
Color: Very pale pink, ecru
Size: Medium (please see measurements)
Condition
Very Good: Hand washed and steamed. One tiny pinhole near the hem on one of the pant legs. The top looks almost brand new, but has a black mark on one of the waist ties. The pants have some slight thinning in some areas but are structurally sound for wear. There is also a slight patina in the pants as they are not quite as 'bright' as the top. I imagine that the original wearer wore the pants but may not have worn the top often.

A Note on Buying Vintage
A Note on Buying Vintage
This is an antique or early vintage garment made from delicate materials such as silk, fine cotton, lace, or early synthetics. These textiles may display signs consistent with age, which includes:
• natural fiber fatigue
• gentle thinning at stress points
• subtle irregularities inherent to early manufacturing
• age-related softness or patina
These qualities are authentic to historic garments and are considered part of their character, not defects, unless otherwise stated.
Notable flaws, such as excessive wear, stains, holes, or rips will always be photographed and disclosed in the condition notes.
