A lovely and rare 1930s nightgown by Fischer Heavenly Lingerie. Made of incredibly sheer white rayon chiffon that leaves little to the imagination. A very Grecian Goddess look with a bias cut and light blue satin ribbon appliques shaping the under bust in a diamond shape that carries on to the back. Stunning gathered shoulders allowing the fabric to fold. A huge sweeping floor length skirt with an impressive 82 inch sweep, hemmed in light blue ribbon. This art deco beauty has tons of movement and graces the body with a classic draped flow of fabric. A stunning piece that would make a beautiful addition to any vintage collection!
CONDITION - Good: There is an obvious and poorly done mend on the right corner of the diamond at the waist. It is not a hole and could easily be fixed as it is essentially a seam. Two rusty orange spots on the skirt that hide in the folds. There are several scattered pinholes in the chiffon, invisible in folds. There are also a few spots on the hem where the gown sweeps the floor. This gown is still structurally sound, just needs that darned seam repaired! Priced accordingly.
