Vintage 1930's Nightgown | Seafoam Green Silk with Ivory Chiffon & Lace | Size 32-33.5 Bust, XS, S | Bullocks of Los Angeles

This vintage 1930s nightgown from the world-famous Bullocks department store of Los Angeles was definitely made for a person with high social status as it appears to be custom made. A gathered sheer ivory chiffon bodice edged in ruffled lace, with a very low back which adds a beautifully sensuous bit of drama. Two little pink bows adorn the waist, with a pale seafoam green silk skirt that hugs the figure perfectly as it cascades to the floor. A unique and remarkable gown!

CONDITION :

Very good - Hand washed and steamed. I found 6 small holes in the skirt with the largest being about the width of a thin heel (right above the hem as pictured). The front hem has some yellow watermarks that lightened but weren't lifted completely. A couple of small spots from age, and a wide storage stain below the seat on the back. One tiny yet obvious mend on the strap next to a small hole.
