This vintage 1930s nightgown was made from light and airy buttermilk silk, completely hand sewn and made in China. Lovely white lace edging the neckline and straps, with intricate hand embroidered floral wreaths and detail across the bodice. Bias cut with a sleek fit, with a thin sash tie to cinch the waist. This gown falls to the floor with an embroidered scalloped hem, with a very low V cut back to give a subtle yet sexy glimpse of skin.

CONDITION :
Good: gown itself is a bit wounded but perfectly sturdy for wear. One fairly large darker blemish on the front lower skirt, and two on the back that are slightly darker. One hole and one tear in the back from treating stains. One tiny dark spot near the right arm hole. Could stitch the holes or shorten the hem and gown would be nearly flawless.

A Note on Buying Vintage
A Note on Buying Vintage
This is an antique or early vintage garment made from delicate materials such as silk, fine cotton, lace, or early synthetics. These textiles may display signs consistent with age, which includes:
• natural fiber fatigue
• gentle thinning at stress points
• subtle irregularities inherent to early manufacturing
• age-related softness or patina
These qualities are authentic to historic garments and are considered part of their character, not defects, unless otherwise stated.
Notable flaws, such as excessive wear, stains, holes, or rips will always be photographed and disclosed in the condition notes.
