This vintage 1930s nightgown was made from featherlight silk in a rich shade of buttercream. Sheer while still preserving a bit of modesty, with a bias cut and bold red piping along the yoke. Embroidery adorns the center chest with a center tie to close the deep V neckline. This sweetly sultry gown is lightly fitted through the upper hip, with attached ties to cinch the waist. A long slender skirt falls to the ankle, with a very low back to allow a gorgeous glimpse of skin. Unique and subtle without sacrificing in allure, an excellent addition to the boudoir!

CONDITION :
Excellent: No holes or rips, but there are a few marks as pictured. Very faint color bleeding directly above the piping (I think?) that was difficult to photograph, kind of tricks the eye but mentioned just in case others could see it too!

A Note on Buying Vintage
A Note on Buying Vintage
This is an antique or early vintage garment made from delicate materials such as silk, fine cotton, lace, or early synthetics. These textiles may display signs consistent with age, which includes:
• natural fiber fatigue
• gentle thinning at stress points
• subtle irregularities inherent to early manufacturing
• age-related softness or patina
These qualities are authentic to historic garments and are considered part of their character, not defects, unless otherwise stated.
Notable flaws, such as excessive wear, stains, holes, or rips will always be photographed and disclosed in the condition notes.
