Vintage 1930s midi length dress made from a silky semi sheer rayon material with a stunning dusty blue and white circular abstract print. Classic 30s style, with a bias cut and padded shoulders to give the iconic darted shoulders of the era. Intricate pin tuck detail along the bodice with non-functioning celluloid buttons down the center for added decor. This darling dress is nicely fitted with a loose drape and flowing skirt that falls below the knee. Side button snap closure.

CONDITION
Very good/excellent - Hand washed and steamed. There have been several seam repairs that are invisible, but some looser seams remain (not bad, consistent with age). One very small hole and a small brownish mark on the side seam next to snap closure. Extremely faint circle lines near underarms that the camera wouldn't pick up. I have had this dress for months and studied every part of it; did not see them until measuring under bright studio lights (that is how faint it is).

A Note on Buying Vintage
A Note on Buying Vintage
This is an antique or early vintage garment made from delicate materials such as silk, fine cotton, lace, or early synthetics. These textiles may display signs consistent with age, which includes:
• natural fiber fatigue
• gentle thinning at stress points
• subtle irregularities inherent to early manufacturing
• age-related softness or patina
These qualities are authentic to historic garments and are considered part of their character, not defects, unless otherwise stated.
Notable flaws, such as excessive wear, stains, holes, or rips will always be photographed and disclosed in the condition notes.
