Vintage 1930s dress made of a very sheer dusty blue silk organza fabric with a gold swiss dot pattern. Sleeveless and cut on the bias with a low, very slightly fitted waist. This stunning gown cascades to the floor with a very wide skirt, gathered at the upper hip to add a delicate yet elegant bit of body. A slip on style with button-snap closure at the side of the waist. A truly special dress that offers a great variety of both vintage and modern styles.

CONDITION :

Excellent: Hand washed and steams without any stains or rips, There are some tiny pulls in the fabric in a few areas and a few tiny holes as pictured. Some of the gold dots have worn away with a large area being at the lower skirt. Hardly noticeable when worn thanks to the many folds and fabric texture.

A Note on Buying Vintage

This is an antique or early vintage garment made from delicate materials such as silk, fine cotton, lace, or early synthetics. These textiles may display signs consistent with age, which includes:

• natural fiber fatigue
• gentle thinning at stress points
• subtle irregularities inherent to early manufacturing
• age-related softness or patina

These qualities are authentic to historic garments and are considered part of their character, not defects, unless otherwise stated.

Notable flaws, such as excessive wear, stains, holes, or rips will always be photographed and disclosed in the condition notes.
