This 1930s maxi dress was made from a very sheer black silk chiffon material with gorgeous, bright rose appliqués in shades of pink, coral, and peach hand sewn around the skirt and on the sides of both sleeves. Bias cut with ruched detail at the center chest and large puffed sleeves are classic details to the era. Slim through the waist with a long wide skirt that falls to the floor. Stiff facing sewn along the hem helps the gown to create a full A line silhouette. This stunner closes at the side with a metal zipper. An absolutely amazing relic from the era that is likely one of a kind.

Condition: Very good-excellent: Looks to have never been worn, however there are a cluster of moth holes right above the hem that I was going to attempt to patch but didn't have any matching material on hand.
