This light as air vintage 1930s evening gown was made from a sheer black rayon chiffon material. Bias cut with stunning Chantilly lace panels inserted around the bodice and skirt. This stunning gown is dripping with detail, with gathered chiffon framing the very low cut neck and a deep keyhole back that closes just above the derriere with little fabric covered buttons. Sleek and very sexy with a long A line skirt that skims the ankles. Gathered detail at the center back creates a subtle 'bustle' which shapes the gown nicely from all angles. This piece reminds me so much of the Belle Epoque styles from the late Victorian-early Edwardian era.

A Note on Buying Vintage
A Note on Buying Vintage
This is an antique or early vintage garment made from delicate materials such as silk, fine cotton, lace, or early synthetics. These textiles may display signs consistent with age, which includes:
• natural fiber fatigue
• gentle thinning at stress points
• subtle irregularities inherent to early manufacturing
• age-related softness or patina
These qualities are authentic to historic garments and are considered part of their character, not defects, unless otherwise stated.
Notable flaws, such as excessive wear, stains, holes, or rips will always be photographed and disclosed in the condition notes.
