This vintage 1930s dressing gown robe was made from a lush rose pink silk satin material with a high luster that shimmers beautifully. Bias cut with large ruched sleeves that add a fullness at the shoulder, classic to the era. Gorgeous nude alencon lace inserts adorn the bust with silk covered buttons that close the bodice. Hidden button snap and eye-hook closure at the waist keep the robe from shifting, with an accompanying sash tie to cinch to your liking. A long smooth and sleek skirt falls to the ankle with a slight train at the back for an elegant touch. An unworn beauty with lots of life to live.

A Note on Buying Vintage

This is an antique or early vintage garment made from delicate materials such as silk, fine cotton, lace, or early synthetics. These textiles may display signs consistent with age, which includes:

• natural fiber fatigue
• gentle thinning at stress points
• subtle irregularities inherent to early manufacturing
• age-related softness or patina

These qualities are authentic to historic garments and are considered part of their character, not defects, unless otherwise stated.

Notable flaws, such as excessive wear, stains, holes, or rips will always be photographed and disclosed in the condition notes.
