Vintage 1930's Dressing Gown | Deep Silver Gray Satin Charmeuse with Chiffon & Rhinestone Buttons | Size M, LG

Out of Stock

Incredibly glamorous, this 1930s dressing gown is made from silky smooth rayon satin charmeuse in a very rich shade of deep silver. Beautifully created to flatter the form and accentuate curves, with a tailored waist adorned with 2 large rhinestone faux buttons to add a bit of flair. Bias cut with a completely gathered bust made of the inverted charmeuse giving a chiffon-like texture and drape. With shoulder pads to give the classic silhouette and cuffed bell sleeves, appliqued pockets and the most dramatic, long flowing skirt falling to the ankle, this robe is the ultimate for a truly glamorous leisure. Front eye-hook closure at the waist with a hidden zipper running down the center of the skirt for a step in style, and an incredibly long rope tie to cinch the waist and add even more detail to an already stunning robe. Excellent for any old Hollywood fashionista looking for something with a little extra sparkle!

CONDITION - Very good: Completely structurally sound without any significant stains, rips or holes. There is one tiny fray spot hidden in the gathered fabric in the bust, with a few tiny pinholes (three on the back, one on lower front hip). One small whip-stitch repair made to the lower center back where there was a small tear; about 1 centimeter long. Two water marks on the back of the right sleeve and a few brownish age marks. Flaws are quite minimal and do not at all distract from the beauty of this special robe!
