This 1930s dress is exquisite beyond words. Made entirely of very sheer antiqued white tulle with the most elaborate tambour embroidery throughout its entirety. A lovely fitted bodice with a boatneck and puffed half-sleeves, made perfect with tulle ruffled shoulder pads for the classic silhouette. Beautiful floral and pinstriped embroidery accentuates all the right places. Button snap closure up the spine and an elasticized waist to always provide the best fit without stressing the fabric with movement. A gathered skirt offers a natural bit of fullness, fully embroidered and scalloped at the mid-calf hem. This incredible gown has an accompanying long ivory satin sash that looks beautiful when tied in the front, at the hip, or in the back (as shown). A very rare one of a kind vintage gown that can easily be worn as a wedding gown, a formal gown, or even a fancy summer dress out on the town. Absolutely enchanting!

CONDITION - Excellent: This dress was very well cared for, with no holes or rips. Tulle has a natural stretch and is not 'brittle' . All hardware and elastic in excellent condition. I am sure the dress was bright white at one time but now has an ivory patina. One small age spot on the lower back skirt.
