This vintage 1930s dress set features a sleek pale rose pink rayon satin slip with a matching tabour cotton lace duster. Bias cut and form fitting, this set is a rare find that perfectly portrays the drama and elegance of the era. The slip is rather plain with a very low back and sweet ruffled hem that skims the floor. The duster really steals the show with large puffed sleeves and an open fit, closing at the center bodice with a row of fabric covered buttons. An absolutely gorgeous art deco styled rhinestone clasping belt pulls the set together. A very dramatic and highly collectible set.

Condition: Very good: Hand washed and steamed. The set is structurally sound and completely wearable. Lace retains full stretch and is sturdy due to the cotton fiber. There is one spot on the bodice that I thought I lifted until seeing the set under studio lights; may lift with another soak. Buttons have rust stains that lightened significantly with baking soda and peroxide, but some of the buttons wouldn't budge (the worst hides under the belt thankfully). Slip has no stains but there are some dents and one small hole on the lower side hip.
