This 1930's dress is a real treat! Made of lush emerald green velvet, with a high cowl neck that ties in the open back. Piping along the chest with round rhinestone buttons and a bias cut, this dress also has long sleeves with ruched detail in the shoulders and elbows. This gorgeous gown is completely fitted from the waist through the hip, accentuating the curves beautifully with a floor length fluted hem and open back. A very dramatic evening dress with a stunning silhouette.

CONDITION - Very good to excellent: There was a repair made at the hem that is hardly noticeable when worn, but obvious on the underside. A few seam repairs were made and are invisible. Some missing rhinestones in the buttons, unnoticeable due to the foil backing on the buttons. The underarm area is a bit stiff from wear but no obvious staining or holes, fabric is strong. Loops at the sides for a belt but there is no belt included.

A Note on Buying Vintage

This is an antique or early vintage garment made from delicate materials such as silk, fine cotton, lace, or early synthetics. These textiles may display signs consistent with age, which includes:

• natural fiber fatigue
• gentle thinning at stress points
• subtle irregularities inherent to early manufacturing
• age-related softness or patina

These qualities are authentic to historic garments and are considered part of their character, not defects, unless otherwise stated.

Notable flaws, such as excessive wear, stains, holes, or rips will always be photographed and disclosed in the condition notes.
