This vintage 1930s Chinese lounge set is absolutely dripping with detail. The lining of the top and accompanying high waist palazzo pants are made from a rich rusty red silk, while the outside layer of the top is made from a gorgeous mauve silk with a botanical brocade print. Thick trapunto detail around the high mandarin collar and along the off-center opening adds a spectacular touch. Frog buttons and darling puff sleeves on the top and double adjustable button closure on the pants create the classic, highly elegant look of the era. A very special set!
