This vintage 1930s nightgown has never been worn, made from a shimmery buttercream yellow silk satin material that provides a fluid like drape along the figure. Bias cut with a stunning gathered bust and puffed cap sleeves. The sweetheart neckline and sleeve cuffs both adorned with embroidered nude lace with woven ribbon in the palest shade of green that matches the thread used to stitch the gown itself. This slinky little gown hugs the figure nicely with attached ribbon ties that cinch the waist. A long ankle length hem with petal-like scalloped edges that are nicely finished with tulle. A very unique and absolutely darling gown.

A Note on Buying Vintage

This is an antique or early vintage garment made from delicate materials such as silk, fine cotton, lace, or early synthetics. These textiles may display signs consistent with age, which includes:

• natural fiber fatigue
• gentle thinning at stress points
• subtle irregularities inherent to early manufacturing
• age-related softness or patina

These qualities are authentic to historic garments and are considered part of their character, not defects, unless otherwise stated.

Notable flaws, such as excessive wear, stains, holes, or rips will always be photographed and disclosed in the condition notes.
