Vintage 1930's Beach Pajama Set | Rich Apricot Silk with Chiffon Inserts & Floral Embroidery | Size XS

This vintage 1930s beach pajama set is made entirely of rich apricot silk that drapes beautifully along the figure. Completely hand sewn with hand rolled seams. The top is a sleeveless style with a deep v cut neckline and upper back. Bias cut with a sheer chiffon insert across the chest, adorned with silk floral appliques and embroidery. Loosely fit with sewn in ties to cinch the waist, and 2 little pockets for your little trinkets. The pants sit high on the waist with a wide band and button closure at the side. Loose in the hip and thigh, and the most elaborate chiffon godets with silk floral appliques and embroidery which contribute to the 40" bell opening at the hem. Insanely gorgeous with dramatic movement and sexiness to the wearer. An excellent choice for the boho chic, art deco collector!

CONDITION - Excellent: Strong fabric and seams. The top is flawless! The pants have 2 tiny little holes in the back of one leg below the knee and 2 tiny spots close to one of the chiffon inserts. One very small repair made to a little slit at the very top of the waist. Pajamas have been washed and steamed!
