This 1940s kimono was made from a luxurious heavier weight silk in a bright shade of cerulean blue. Completely stitched by hand, with a stunning woodblock print that features beautiful Geishas and bold pops of fuchsia pink. This very much 'art deco' robe drapes nicely around the shoulder, with the iconic long sleeves that add drama upon movement. An accompanying sash tie closes the kimono at the waist, with silk fringe at the ends which adds an elegant touch. A very unique piece, perfect for both modern and vintage loyalist collections.
