Vintage 1930's - 1940's Dressing Gown - Sheer Ivory Silk Crepe with Cotton Lace by Twynsette | XXS

This vintage 1930s to early 1940s dressing down by Twynsette was made from a very sheer ivory silk crepe material. Bias cut with half moon padded shoulders that create the iconic silhouette of the era. This darling robe features gorgeous lace panels down the bodice and cuffs of the very wide bishop style sleeves which gives a subtle yet incredibly elegant allure. A wide pale blue ribbon hides beneath the lace waist panel giving a subtle bit of adornment. Completely open with two little buttons that close the robe at the waist allowing whatever is worn beneath to capture a bit of spotlight. This beauty falls to the ankle with a slight longer back and is light as air to create the most beautiful flow upon movement.

Condition: Hand washed and steamed without stains. Silk is strong with a good stretch and no dry spots. There are some moth holes at the lower part of the skirt that could be covered with lace appliqués or the robe could be shortened if it is a bother.
