Vintage 1930s to 1940s all in one girdle by Gossard made from a lightweight but sturdy pale apricot cotton material. This 'Miss Simplicity' style by Gossard features a crisscross back (not correctly fastened in photos; see advertisement) that pulls in the upper body while still allowing some flexibility in the waist. Metal stays over the abdomen and lightly darted lace breast cups help to create the perfect 30's/40's silhouette, while elastic side panels over the hips provide a sleek figure without sacrificing the allure of your body's natural curves. 4 garters hold up your stockings, with hidden eye-hook closure up the side allow for easy wear. A lovely and unique lingerie piece!

CONDITION
Very good: Hand washed and steamed. There is some very faint discoloration over the metal stays in the front. One tiny pinhole in the back by the left button. Elastic panels are very stretchy but not as tight as when originally created which gives them a wavy appearance when relaxed; measurements are given with elastic slightly stretched to prevent wavy appearance when worn.

A Note on Buying Vintage
A Note on Buying Vintage
This is an antique or early vintage garment made from delicate materials such as silk, fine cotton, lace, or early synthetics. These textiles may display signs consistent with age, which includes:
• natural fiber fatigue
• gentle thinning at stress points
• subtle irregularities inherent to early manufacturing
• age-related softness or patina
These qualities are authentic to historic garments and are considered part of their character, not defects, unless otherwise stated.
Notable flaws, such as excessive wear, stains, holes, or rips will always be photographed and disclosed in the condition notes.
