This 1920s nightgown is made from sheer tissue silk in a rich shade of gold with green undertones, glistening beautifully with a high sheen. Very loosely fit, with pintucking and exquisite floral tambour lace across the entirety of the upper bodice. Wide armholes edged in tulle lace with sewn-on belt loops holding a black satin ribbon to cinch the waist. A wide loose hip and lace hem which falls about mid-calf, flattering the figure with a gorgeous draped fit which slims the silhouette. A classic ethereal style from the era of decadence! Wear it alone for a sexy, ethereal bedroom look or wear it over a loose slip as a chic boho style dress!

CONDITION - Very good: No stains and completely safe to wear, though there are several pinholes in the lace and body. There is one significant hole directly above the hem on the side that is about the size of a wooden pencil eraser. This can be patched without distracting from its beauty. Black ribbon is a replacement.

A Note on Buying Vintage

This is an antique or early vintage garment made from delicate materials such as silk, fine cotton, lace, or early synthetics. These textiles may display signs consistent with age, which includes:

• natural fiber fatigue
• gentle thinning at stress points
• subtle irregularities inherent to early manufacturing
• age-related softness or patina

These qualities are authentic to historic garments and are considered part of their character, not defects, unless otherwise stated.

Notable flaws, such as excessive wear, stains, holes, or rips will always be photographed and disclosed in the condition notes.
