Vintage 1920's Chemise Slip | Black Silk Chiffon & Chantilly Lace with Pink Ribbon Straps | Size S

This 1920s chemise is made of sheer black silk chiffon with incredibly detailed Chantilly lace along the top of the bodice and the hem. This slip has peach satin ribbon straps and powder pink ribbon along the inside to offer stitching support to the delicate lace. Pleating in the center front under the neck creates a lovely gathered decor in the bodice, with a darling silk rosette applique for a feminine touch. This open slinky chemise has a rounded hem, and is shorter on the sides. Side slits with beautiful stitching give forgiveness upon movement as well as a naughty bit of exposed skin.

NOTE - This decadent chemise is quite delicate and I recommend wearing with great care and never to sleep in.

CONDITION - Very Good: I found a couple of little pinholes in the chiffon, no larger than 1 mm. There have been repairs made to the lace in a couple of spots and are nearly invisible unless under very close inspection. I found a couple of small breaks in the lace, most significant is in the rear side of the hem. The straps have been replaced and are strong, and I added the rosette, it is not original to the piece but is original to the era. See last photo for flaws and more obvious repairs. Such a beautiful piece!
