This 1920s caftan gown is made of incredibly sheer, incredibly pale, powder pink tissue silk. With a wide boat neck and draping bat wing sleeves, this gown flatters all figures with side frills and a long satin ribbon to cinch the waist and provide a slinky and glamorous silhouette. With elaborate hand embroidery along the edges and bodice, this piece is loaded with detail! Falling below the knee to mid-shin to right above the ankle, depending on height. A very sexy yet modest gown that is as versatile as your creativity. Wear alone as a sexy boudoir lingerie piece, or pair with a long slip and wear as a unique Boho chic dress. Very pretty!

CONDITION - Very good to excellent: Looks very lightly worn. There is some slight discoloration on the tops of the shoulders on both sleeves. Looks like water marks, which are light enough to where I believe they might lift with a good soak. Slight pulling in some areas of the embroidery. I did find one tiny pinhole toward the bottom front. I don't think this is the original ribbon, but was with the gown when I discovered it.

A Note on Buying Vintage

This is an antique or early vintage garment made from delicate materials such as silk, fine cotton, lace, or early synthetics. These textiles may display signs consistent with age, which includes:

• natural fiber fatigue
• gentle thinning at stress points
• subtle irregularities inherent to early manufacturing
• age-related softness or patina

These qualities are authentic to historic garments and are considered part of their character, not defects, unless otherwise stated.

Notable flaws, such as excessive wear, stains, holes, or rips will always be photographed and disclosed in the condition notes.
